Alan’s Skip Hire recently visited Chester Zoo to donate £1000 raised with from their “Save The Zoo With Skip Hire”.

Throughout June the company allowed customers to save £5 on skip hire with their ZOOHELP promo code, and then for every customer who used the code, ASH matched the discount with a £5 donation to the zoo.

“The response to our ZOO Help campaign has been fantastic” commented ASH Group Marketing Manager John Driffield.

“As soon as we heard of the difficulties the zoo was facing with the forced closure because of Covid-19, we wanted to do everything we can to help.

“The general public have rallied behind our campaign, with people even forfeiting their discount on a skip to donate £10 direct to the zoo.

“We are really proud of all our customers and staff who have pushed our promotion and we are delighted to present £1000 to the zoo to support their fantastic work.”

The Chester Zoo “Save Our Zoo” campaign has so far raised over £2.7 million from well over 1000 fundraisers, to protect the daily conservation work they undertake in the care and conservation of over 35,000 animals.

You can still donate to the “Save Our Zoo” appeal by visiting the Chester Zoo Just Giving Page here.
