Air ambulance called to incident in Acrefair

The Wales Air Ambulance was called to an incident in the Acrefair area of Wrexham this afternoon.

The air ambulance was seen circling the Ruabon and Plas Madoc areas just after 2pm

A spokesperson for the Welsh Ambulance Service, said: “We were called today at approximately 14:00 to reports of a patient needing medical assistance in Acrefair, Wrexham.

“We responded with one emergency ambulance and the crew were supported by Wales Air Ambulance.

“One patient was transported by road to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
