Air ambulance attends urgent callout to Llay

Emergency services came together to assist an individual in Llay this afternoon.

Several police vehicles attended in Llay, called to assist medical crews.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at approximately 14:25 to reports of a person needing urgent medical attention in Llay, Wrexham.

“We responded with one rapid response vehicle and one ambulance and our crew received support for the Police Service and the Wales Air Ambulance. One patient was transported by road ambulance to Wrexham Maelor Hospital, Wrexham.”
