The air ambulance attended an incident in New Broughton this evening, with a bus and car colliding.

Update: At 6:27pm the Air Ambulance left the scene on a path back to its base in Welshpool. One bystander confirmed that no one aside from the crew was taken aboard.

The incident has taken place on the corner of Coronation Road and Windsor Road, and involves a dark Vauxhall Astra and a bus.

Phil has told us that the road through New Broughton, Windsor Rd / Southsea Rd is closed from Hong Kong House to the Bersham Road roundabout.

Ryan has sent us this picture of the scene, where Emma tells us five police vehicles and two fire engines are attending.

Andrew sent us the below picture saying: “Air ambulance landing in Gatewen field. Must be due to the accident by bargain booze”

Thanks to Rachel for the very top picture.

More shortly.
