Accident Between ‘Car and Caravan’ on A55

A ‘caravan facing the wrong way’ on the A55 has resulted in delays on the road this afternoon.

The incident was reported at around midday this afternoon, and is believed to have involved a car and a caravan.

As a result one lane on the A55 towards between Broughton and the Posthouse Roundabout is closed.

Traffic is currently backed up between the Wales/England Border with @TaffSinnott telling Wrexham.com that traffic is currently at a standstill.

NW Motorway have since tweeted to say: “Take care on A55 Southerly Bypass, Chester bound, we have a caravan facing the wrong way in lane one.
