Driver Cut Free From Ferrari After Rossett Junction Crash

The driver of a car involved in an incident on the A483 this morning has been cut free from their vehicle after a crash just after the Rossett junction.

UPDATE: The road has since reopened.

One man has been taken to the Maelor Hospital with what have been described as ‘serious but nonlife threatening injuries’.

David Smith sent the above picture of the incident shows two Ferraris on the scene of the incident, perhaps explaining why initial reports stating two were involved.

Others have spoken of a range of ‘supercars’ on the road near to the time of the crash around 10:30am this morning, including other Ferraris and a McLaren.

The A483 Wrexham bypass is closed by the Rossett junction after an incident involving multiple vehicles.

Police are currently directing traffic as emergency services respond to the incident. There is no information on the condition of those involved.

A Wrexham.com reader, who sent us these pictures from the queue of traffic, said: “A red Ferrari lost control and slipped up the bank, 360 and back on the road again.”

Helen told us: “Serious accident just happened under the Rossett flyover on A483 from Chester into Wrexham road is going to be closed for a while.”

Joss added “2 Vehicle RTC involving a Ferrari A483 South near Rossett. Traffic Terrible”

Other people have been in touch to say the incident has involved two Ferraris.
