Northbound A483 reopens fully after car flips

Update: The road has reopened.

North West Motorway Police tweeted the top image after the incident saying: “MS31 attended the A483 earlier to report of a vehicle leaving the carriageway. Driver taken to hospital & patrol will attend shortly to check level of injury.”

One lane on the A483 northbound is currently blocked due to an overturned vehicle.

The incident took place at around 3pm this afternoon just after the Rossett junction / towards the Wales and England border.

The incident has occurred close to the Dodleston Road bridge over the A483.

The road is partially blocked as a result and there are some delays in the area.

Earlier today one car span into the layby near to Gresford, with another car spinning off the A483 and hitting a barrier.
