Update Thursday morning: Ali has told us: “The bypass isn’t down to one lane each side. They’ve got a 40mph limit set on both sides between Rhostyllen and just before Bangor on Dee exit both ways. Looks like fixed barrier to be fair. Cones around it but defo a barrier up! Maybe single lane from after rush hour.”

The A483 has reopened after five hours of on and off closures due to an earlier tractor and lorry crash – however there will still be a section where lane 2 will remain closed.

Wrexham Council say the ‘Lane 2 closures’ will remain in place by the incident spot until Friday morning whilst centre barrier repairs are completed – and ask that people allow extra time for your journey.
