4G Surprise For Some Mobile Users In Wrexham

The 4G Myth in Wrexham temporarily became a reality for some mobile users in Wrexham today – with mobile coverage in the area seemingly starting to improve.

In the past their have been jokes that Wrexham is stuck in the dark ages, with some mobile users having seemingly endless issues with 3G across the town.

Over the past few days things appear to be moving forward – with several people getting in touch with Wrexham.com to say they have managed to get 4G in parts of the town.

Carys tweeted Wrexham.com to say: “Things may be getting better in @wrexham 2 sisters managed 4G today 1 by town library other by Rhosddu school, only for short time though.”

Kelly Hopkins got in touch to say: “I had the mysterious 4G on EE outside Tescos in Cefn Mawr! Thought my phone was broke!”

However the 4G experience appears to have been short lived, with many tweeting to say they are still struggling to get a data connection in parts of Wrexham.

Ian Williams said: “We will get 4G just after London gets 8G holographic video with optional teleportation add-in.”

While Trevor Jones added: “What is this mystical 4G of which you speak? Struggle to get 3G in Rhostyllen!”
