£15,000 of stolen jewellery ‘could be sold in Wrexham’

Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating the theft of jewellery worth around £15,000 from a property in Newtown.

Five one-of-a-kind gold bangles, worth between £2,500 and £4,000 each, and one pair of diamond stud earrings, worth £2,000, were all taken sometime between 7.15am and 7.30pm a week ago on Friday, 18 May.

Officers suspect the jewellery could be sold on in either Shrewsbury or Wrexham areas.

Anyone with information is urged to contact PC Owain Jarrett at Newtown Police Station by calling 101.
