13 Year Old Assaulted In Unprovoked Attack

Police are appealing for information after a 13 year old boy was assaulted in an unprovoked attack while walking from Hightown to Marchwiel in Wrexham just after 7.30pm on Saturday February 16.

He was walking on the pavement along the main road and as he crossed the second junction for Kings Mills he became aware of two youths, both male, behind him.

He was punched to the right side of his face causing bruising, before managing to break free and run off towards Marchwiel.

The offender who assaulted him is described as about 5ft 5ins tall, average build wearing a black hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms and spoke with a local accent.

The second youth was slightly taller and was wearing a grey hooded jacket and black trousers.
