A minute’s silence for the victims of the Manchester terrorist attack will take place this morning across the UK.

The UK Government announced the minute’s silence will take place at 11am in remembrance of those who lost their lives and those who were affected by the horrific attack that took place in Manchester on Monday evening.

A statement released by 10 Downing Street, the Department for Culture, Media & Sport and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office said that the silence will be marked at all government buildings and other organisations may follow suit.

Flags on government buildings will remain at half-mast until later this evening.
