Arrests After 11 Warrants Executed In Town Drugs Raids

North Wales Police this afternoon told Wrexham.com that they executed 11 warrants associated with drugs in various areas of town, including Hightown, Smithfield and Caia. 

“Various quantities” of Class A and Class B drugs were recovered in the raids, and “large quantities” of drug paraphernalia were also recovered.

North Wales Police tweeted us @wrexham with the above and below pictures of the raids, with comments indicating further action is to be taken:

Two people were arrested on suspicion of supplying drugs. One person was arrested for possession of drugs. Two further people are due to be interviewed at a later date.

drugs-raid Later this afternoon, unconnected to the above raids, Community Sergeant Williams tweeted saying: “The arrests continue…..Male arrested after a foot chase for vehicle crime.”
