Public Meeting To Be Held On Arson Attacks & Anti-Social Behaviour

A public meeting aimed at tackling arson attack in the area is to take place in Caia Park next week.

Following a number of recent arson attacks in Caia, particularly in the Pentre Gwyn, Tan y Coed and Coed y Bryn area, a public meeting has been arranged for tenants and residents in these areas.

Councillor Brian Cameron in partnership with North Wales Fire Service, North Wales Police, Wrexham County Borough Council Housing Services, The Partnership Youth Service and Communities First, along with Lead Member for Communities and Partnerships, Cllr Hugh Jones, would like to invite tenants and residents to a public meeting at the Pentre Gwyn Community Centre, Abenbury Road, on Monday, 8th of February, 6pm until 7pm to discuss the arson issue and anti-social behaviour in the area.

Cllr Brian Cameron said: “This is a really serious issue and something needs to be done before someone is seriously injured or killed. I would ask residents to come along to the meeting at the Pentre Gwyn Centre and help us to start tackling this problem.”
