An annual Christmas market is held in Wrexham at St Giles Parish Church and on Church Street.

There are usually a large range of goods on offer such as hand made wooden toys, candles, cards, crafts, Christmas decorations, freshly cut trees, pottery and lots of local produce.

The dates for 2012 have yet to be announced but we will keep you updated as soon as they are.

Last year confusion was caused after the council released a statement saying the whole market was closed due to weather concerns.

The indoor stalls went ahead but with reduced footfall due to confusion over the statement.
