Wrexham Glyndwr University’s open day scheduled for this Saturday will now take place as a reduced event in place of the full, advertised schedule.
Due to the weather forecast of heavy snowfall over the coming days, the event tomorrow (March 3rd) will be focused within the main university foyer rather than in the sports hall.
The university’s Northop campus will be closed to prospective students, but the Regent Street campus (home to the School of Creative Arts) is planned to still be open to visitors.
Just a reminder that tomorrow's open day will still go ahead but will be a reduced event from 10am until 1pm in the main foyer area of our Mold Road campus: https://t.co/5DqU6JaI8u #WGUopenday Check social media for updates.

A spokesperson for the university, said: “Due to the nature of the forecast weather conditions, some advertised talks, tours and events scheduled for the day may have to be cancelled if staff are unable to travel to campus.
“Those attending are advised to check their emails and Wrexham Glyndwr University’s social media accounts for updates as they occur.
“Those attending are asked to use the Mold Road entrance for access and parking. Attendees are advised to exercise caution and take extra care when travelling, to keep up-to-date with forecasts and to allow extra time for journeys to and from Wrexham Glyndwr University.”
Anyone unable to attend the open day due to poor weather will be advised of Wrexham Glyndwr University’s next full open day which will take place in the coming weeks
