Looks like you need 100 nominations and a hefty £5,000 deposit! When do nominations close?

What's the deal with the £5000 deposit - do they get it back if they receive a certain amount/percentage of votes?

Any details of candidates and their backgrounds ? I have a polling card but so far no information to help me decide who should get my vote!

Today a pink and white leaflet dropped through the letterbox produced by the Electoral Commission. Not a single word about the candidates , it only states the election is on November 15th and is to elect a Police and Crime Commissoner to oversea your local police force. It states that to find out information about candidates visit [url=http://www.choosemypcc.org.uk. Or call 0800 1 07 07 08 to order PRINTED information about your candidates!

Thanks for the link. Apparently candidate information is being made available from today (26th Oct) though they don't state if this is available on-line or through your registered interest by post as previous post mentions. They have an email alert you can setup though.

The website choosemypcc .org.uk has now got details of the North Wales candidates just type in your postcode and they will appear.
