In a Welsh medium school I expect that it would be the other way round where Welsh is spoken in the playground but you wouldn’t expect the children not to be taught English too. Fortunately we don’t now use the Welsh Knot.

It would be a very sad depressing world to live in if there was no beauty, no art, no green fields, no debate & no children playing. I felt that the initial post was more about the fact that the Polish language was given more priority in a Welsh school than Welsh language. Is that right? The Health Service should be above party politics.

Isn’t this quote the one to take notice of. Quote” Independent investigators described the allegations as ‘without any credible evidence to support them’, and ‘provocative’.” Unquote. Surely Councillor King’s claims have been investigated thoroughly for this to be the outcome. I wouldn’t think that this decision has been taken lightly.

I do wonder if pedestrianisation is an issue. I was in Gwersyllt a couple of days ago and had cause to go to the Dodds Lane shopping centre. It was heaving. This with assorted local shops all around, Tesco, a cafe & a fish & chip shop. All the shops were easily accessible and there was free parking. The reason that I called there was because of the lack of public toilets. I was told that the cafe there was very amenable if there was a need & yes they were very amenable and I thank them. It was certainly somewhere that I would go again.

The Welsh Assembly aren’t usually renowned for giving much to the north of Wales. Why would they want us to have this big beautiful new development?

There appears to be a more than usual amount of break-ins recently. The scum that does this has no respect for anyone. They should be taken off the streets instead of being given a slap on the wrist & don’t do it again. The victims don’t get over it quite so easily.

I always feel the the bus station blocks out King Street. It certainly wasn’t joined up thinking. I seem to remember reading that they are talking of putting in a walkway to King Street from Grosvenor Road & the old folks housing development. What is the point when they are moving the shops further away? The old folks are forgotten when it comes to town planning. The older independent ones still like to collect their pension and it will be a heck of a walk for them to go from Grosvenor Road to Henblas Street for the Post Office.

A lot of older people who catch the bus into & out of town would benefit from a mini
M & S food hall near the bus station. A post office wouldn’t come amiss either or a bank.

That’s easy for me because I have only ever parked there once.
