So the default speed is still 20mph. What could be easier than reverting to 30mph except for the areas most people agree with. By schools, care homes, housing estates, hospitals. Who in their right minds would even consider putting a play area close to a main road?

I agree Benjamin. I also think that speed limits should be looked at on Llay New Road & Mold Road. The amount of changes on those roads is ridiculous.

There should be traffic lights at the Crispin Lane, Mold Road & Maesgwyn junction which may be addressed when, if ever, the transport hub by the Railway Station is completed.

Plas Coch shopping park needs attention with perhaps a feeder road off the A483. Plas Coch Lane can’t cope & when any work is done on the Stansty tunnel the whole town becomes gridlocked.

Well I am all for them. They show where there is a genuine need for 20mph & create a talking point.

I would much prefer flashing 20mph signs at each end of the school premises with an additional comment between the hours 8am & 6pm.

Didn’t Stephanie Booth come up with something along these lines?

A very interesting & understandable viewpoint Alunh.

However the services required are NHS doctors, dentists, hospital, education, fire, police & ambulances. All of these services are already stretched to breaking point & something needs to be in place prior to the building of 1,000s of new houses.

Wrexham isn’t particularly short of supermarkets but we are short of frequent & affordable transport to reach them.

I know that Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Councillor X, I hope that the covid comment was written tongue in cheek.

Retinography was also off site but is now back at the Maelor.

I wonder why they don’t use off site where possible to relieve the parking. There has to be a reason I’m sure.

Regarding the Path Lab, if you have a late afternoon appointment it is usually easier to park.

If I’m not mistaken, using public transport means 2 buses for most residents of Wrexham as local buses don’t go past the hospital.
