Decades ago Councillors were paid an Attendance Allowance which could only be claimed for each individual meeting they actually attended.Previous to that they were not paid at all. Do we expect more of our Councillors now that they are salaried and easily contactable via the Internet ?

I am sure the organisers will be disappointed your family did not have a good time but the photos seem to show many people did.

Plenty to listen to and look at the Wrexfest, stalls on Llwyn Isaf and Queen’s Square. Lots of different foods on offer from Pupcakes for your dog through to locally produced cakes, bread and of course our own Wrexham Lager. Things for children too, Techniquest have a few hands on experiments and New to You have a whole stall of things for Free!

More than three-quarters (77%) of pupils in Wrexham schools achieved the Level 2 Threshold (at least 5 passes at A*-C), which is a significant increase on last year’s performance of 67%. Just over half of students achieved the Level 2+ Threshold indicator which means at least 5 A*-C passes including English or Welsh (first language) and Maths. This is a significant increase on last year’s performance of 45%.

Good to see an improvement on last year’s results. Over a 5% increase in those obtaining 5 A-C including Maths and English/ Welsh and 10% increase in those getting 5 A-C GCSE’s !

Are you open over the Bank Holiday weekend? Some photos of what you have to offer would be good?
