Wrexham Council look set to receive less money from the Welsh Assembly and will be faced with many difficult decisions, yet the same Assembly has found enough money to give every one of the 22 county councils in Wales £40,000 each to introduce the live broadcasting of meetings on the Internet! I am sure Wrexham Council would have preferred the choice of how to spend that money rather than being told! Like any family budget all needs should be covered first before any fripperies!

The lack of a rear entrance to the hospital is another. The building of Morrisons provided one opportunity and the Western Gateway another. We still await a second access road to the hospital. There is actually a splayed provision for access off the new Western Gateway, Croesnewydd Road but it is at a higher level than the car park , so near yet so far!

What is the time and date of the next Executive Board Meeting and how will we be able to access it? That is if it is live online!

Sounds like demolition is the preferred option. Wonder what plans there are in the pipe line for its redevelopment ?

Many public services are merging on the grounds of cost saving. How long before Wrexham County Council merges with Flintshire and Denbighshire and the wheel turns full circle and Clwyd County Council is reformed.Perhaps more likely this time around the area covered could be much larger , possibly leaving just two County Councils to serve North Wales! We should all be concerned about anything that moves jobs away from Wrexham. Wrexham is still the largest town in North Wales!

I think the delay in writing a post and it being uploaded is partly to blame, spontaneity has been lost.

Stop / Go will not really solve the problem. Anyone seen anyone working there yet?

I noticed last week that there was no work going on along Watery Road, does anyone know exactly what they are supposed to be doing along there ? If the start has been delayed couldn’t they remove the cones and open the road until actual work starts ?
