I don’t agree with you there Moz , the Council poured millions into the maintenance of the Hightown Flats over the years but could not overcome the inherent desgin flaw of the “walkways”.

The traditional Victorian Christmas Market is on for three week-ends starting next weekend December 3rd and 4th . A good time to get into the Christmas spirit, as well as an opportunity to buy some unusual presents. Father Christmas has promised to be there too!!

Another company under pressure with shops in Wrexham is Thomas Cook. The 200 million loan secured on Friday only buys time. Some restructing it seems will follow.

It is a shame they are going to include more flats. Wrexham has plenty of flats , in fact there are some new flats in the town that have never been sold. Saturation point has been reached. The demand is for affordable houses for families to live in.

The site of the BHS store was owned and maybe is still owned by the Council. If they do still own the site they would be in the position of revising a lease to reflect the current trading climate.

Your prices look very reasonable for a real tree, is there any chance of ordering a 7 foot one? We have high ceilings!!

The heavy showers today tested the new Morrisons roof and found it wanting. A small group of buckets were arranged near the entrance to collect water dripping through the roof.

Just our of interest, Wingetts have a special auction sale next month of items belonging to Wrexham businessman Bob Gray. Among them are many brewing related objects, some to do with the original Wrexham Lager.
