Matt, is there any point in the Country electing MEPs when they will be automatically ejected when (if) we leave on or before Halloween? It is a massive expense just like the BREXIT process has been so far.

Spoil v Don’t Vote v Protest Vote

Spoiling a paper or recording a protest vote gives the impression that people are interested but by not voting, there is a poor turnout and the politicians get the message that nobody cares because the elections shouldn’t be taking place.

I get the civic duty point but you need to buy into the election and believe in the outcome. I stupidly believed my LEAVE vote would count. Many of us have lost faith in the process now.

Should i vote in something that i don’t have any passion about and don’t care about the outcome of?

GoM1, i don’t think that grasp my post do you?

1. i don’t expect or need it to be read – it is a protest
2. There is no Batphone to parliament because Batman doesn’t live or work there (he just visits)

and
3. to quote a previous post – we are voting to send representiaives to an assembly we should no longer be a party to.
4. the GoM1 website says “Take The First Step Towards Success & Become Who You Were Meant To Be” – how many steps have you taken so far?

With Born Acorn I am going to do what most Leavers will do and not vote in this joke of an election.

If we are ever to leave then this waste of money election is not needed BUT it is a sign that the minority of voters and the majority of MPs will get their way and we will stay.

They had THREE years to get us out but the a$$holes couldn’t manage that. How much of that wasted time could have been devoted to GENUINE Government business?

Over to you Mrs May …….

ChillDoubt and zinger Do me a favour and sit and speak to people receiving treatment (I dare you) ….. believe me

PEOPLE UNDERGOING CANCER TREATMENT DO DRIVE AND TRY TO PARK!

They often HAVE to drive and arrive at the ward upset that they are late for treatment!

If staff park in the disabled spots, where do genuinely disabled patients park when they arrive before 9am for their appointments?

could staff not do the right ting and move to non-disabled spots when they are on their breaks?

PS patients are often there for all day treatments (eg. cancer) not just 2 hours. They start the day stressed trying to park
The ‘multi’ 2 storey car park at the Maelor is used every day by staff- many spaces are used by those working in the offices for the Health Board.
This thread hs staryed somewhat from the origin which was Town Centre- however combining both issues with one solution could be a park and ride
Buckfast breakfast again Derek? Or hs I staryed awy form the piont? lol :)

Thanks Matt. Would be interested in their response.

I do think Wales is more attractive for migrants NHS treatment because the prescription charge in England is £9.00 per item. When you see migrants with big bags of free drugs leaving the chemist near my house i think how lucky they are to live in Wales.

They could have saved a lot of money and paved it with broken promises!
