“Some people’s carbon footprint would outsize even that of your typical American whose negative environmental impact on the planet is well known. Alcohol consumption levels at home are very visible too.”

Can you let us know where you got your facts from please loan?
Has someone been through our bins AND the bins of America and do you have examples of the families please? We can name and shame these people and don’t start me on alcohol … who can afford it thanks to the Welsh Government?

Look forward to your evidence – iechyd da

Wrexview, just like with the new housing estates in Brymbo there won’t be the promised school, community centre, healthcare service etc. The traffic on Ruthin Road will get worse with maybe 3000 cars plus on the estate coming in and out.

    Dear newwales

    “stupid phosphorus in rivers rules”
Phosphorus pollution in Wales’ SAC rivers is a serious issue which defies easy solutions, with more than 60% of our most precious SAC rivers failing phosphate targets.
There is no single measure which will solve this crisis and there is no quick fix: the ‘legacy effect’ means that it may take many years before we see any change.

“the more houses that are built in Wrexham the better to keep house prices from increasing even faster”
Not happening until phosphorous is sorted – so not for a long time

“If amenities are not in the area like Dr’s, Schools then recruit the Dr’s, & fix the schools not stop the house building”
See above about building and where does the money come from to fix schools and the NHS? Have you read about the cost of living crisis and its effects on services? It will get a lot worse before it gets better.

“Some Wrexham Councillors seem selfish & not fit for the job.”
    Agreed!

BTW Andrew, more like Trumpton than Clochmerle

NHS could face bill of more than £1bn to fund upcoming pay rise!

The current asylum system is costing the taxpayer £1.5 billion a year, and when the UK is spending almost £7m a day on hotels for asylum seekers, couldn’t this money be spent elsewhere, maybe the NHS?

Remember Boris Johnson’s 350 million a week to the NHS after Brexit?

Like everything else we can’t do bugga all about it apart from moan. So lets sit there in our thermals shivering and let those in charge continue to do their worst.

JaneJ, sentences like “homeless people won’t have to walk far to their Lord Street hanging out or begging points outside McDonalds!” shouldn’t apply in this day and age.
If someone can get off the boat and end up in a four or five star hotel, why can’t the Government house OUR homeless?
Put them in the Snowdonia Hilton with three meals a day or even Pontins in Prestatyn. We need to look after our own.

The council are good at giving good land over to developers but nothing else seems to move.

Will Chapter Court ever happen? What happened to the gardens on top of the Peoples market car park. Is the bar and cinema open yet?

Poor spelling and punctuation let you down there mate but the service DOES need a good sound system. The old guard deserve better.
