WrecsamGirlParticipantThe police are unlikley to do bugger all in my experience.
WrecsamGirlParticipantI live near here and the OP is indeed correct, people drive like maniacs along this road and it’s probably only a matter of time before someone is knocked over and seriously injured or worse.
So yes you trolls who think you are oh so hilarious might belittle the OP but, he’s making a very valid point.
WrecsamGirlParticipantProbably the worst traffic Ive ever seen in Wrexham. A journey that should have taken me fifteen minutes this morning instead took me almost an hour. I love how the buck is being laid at the doors of Wales and West for digging up Bradley Road (emmergency gas works I believe?), when the real cause of the chaos was the traffic lights by the Ramada, traffic lights that the council insisted the contractors put in place to ‘ease congestion’. Yeah right. That went well didn’t it?
Sometimes I wonder if they live on the same planet as the rest of us?
WrecsamGirlParticipantlol, yes that does look a bit suspcious doesn’t it? Actually when I was rejected by Moneypenny I did indeed email them asking for feedback and didn’t hear anything back in response…
Maybe if they were a bit less picky they wouldn’t have so much trouble recruiting? I know so many capable people who’ve been turned down by them, presumably because like mine their faces didn’t fit.
WrecsamGirlParticipantI know there are people working in Moneypenny who comefrom Chester, Oswetry and beyond. So it’s not all Wrexham folk working there. They are very happy clappy and almost evangelical when you vist them. It all feels a bit fake, just my own opinion though.
WrecsamGirlParticipantWho owns Central Retail Park? It’s a bit of a white elephant isn’t it? A part from Dunelm, the Gym and SCS there’s nothing there anymore. The old PC world looks very sorry for itself, I think that’s been empty for years.

WrecsamGirlParticipantI don’t buy the idea that Chester would pull away all potential diners. If that’s the case why the abudnsce of restaurants in Mold, Ruthin and Llandudo? Why did Hickorys opt to open their Welsh restaurant in Rhos on Sea instead of Wrexham? Why have Prezzo chosen to open on Broughton Park but but not here?
Wrexham doesn’t have to be a “pie and chips town”. Lots of people would use nice town centre restaurants.
WrecsamGirlParticipantThese bumps are absolutley awful and I’m not sure why they are even needed as Morrison’s and Tesco’s manage perfectly well without them? I can only imagine the kind of damage they will do to cars, I won’t be shopping there again until they are removed.
WrecsamGirlParticipantI don’t condone vandalism, but I can see why residents of the Smithfield area are annoyed at people who are just too tight to pay for a carpark dumping their cars outside their house all day. As has already been pointed out there is a very reasonably priced car park on crescent road, £1.50 for all day I believe? Why can’t people use that instead?
WrecsamGirlParticipantTo be honest I’d rather they were on a permanent site than going from place to place disrupting other people’s lives. A classic example is when they rocked up on on Alyn Waters last year or the year before, sports events had to cancelled and they left a pile of mess behind them when they finally moved on. Just the other week they were on Deeside Lesiure Centre car park, and now on a school car park in Rhyl causing disruption to the pupils lessons. What gives them the bloody right?
