woogleeyeParticipantTake their mess with them and repair any damage done, has not happened before when ‘travellers’ set up camp here there and everywhere so why start now the good ole council tax payer will again be picking up the tab.
woogleeyeParticipantCllr Hugh Jones has made some strange comments recently but to be fair he does live on a different planet
to the rest of us as do some other of the muppets that make the decisions that have an effect on us all.
woogleeyeParticipantCouncillor X i have completed the survey as indicated in the comments i made.
woogleeyeParticipantThe decision on council tax seems to have already been made by the elite in ‘guildhall towers’ its either 3% or 5% rise still we have deep pockets so no problem.
More money to pay consultants to give advice on where to make cuts ( sorry savings) just makes you wonder what our highly paid and experienced senior management actually do.
And will the council actually look and listen to any of the comments made by us who have taken the time to complete the document which I have to agree was a poorly designed format with poorly designed questions, remember the city status fiasco, majority not in favour which the council dismissed/ignored and went ahead with the application.
Asking to complete things like this is just ‘smoke and mirrors’ the decisions have already been made behind closed doors as we are all just cash cows to this council who seem to carry on regardless.
woogleeyeParticipantWrexham council leadership (the small minority that dictates how it is run) so magnificent but only in their own eyes and minds.
woogleeyeParticipantWrexham the armpit of North Wales with all the druggies alcoholics and the rest of the dross in and around the area just makes you want to pay more in tax to help them (not).
woogleeyeParticipantwrexview this council will squeeze as much money out of its council tax payers that it can get away with because it has to keep the ivory tower offices going and as many jobsworths in place as possible, financial pressures not when you are looking look after the ‘click’.
woogleeyeParticipantIn April 1996 Wrexham County Borough Council began with D Griffin as its Chief Executive who left the new departments created to get on with the job with no interference, fast forward a few years and he left with a few rumours going about as to why which if any were true who knows.
In his place the council appointed a Mrs Isobel Garner from Oxford Council who came in with a new broom and fancy ideas and the rot began what was not broken had to be fixed and changes here, there and everwhere took place what was a well run council ceased and the morale of the majority of the staff dropped considerably and that has not risen very much.
Now we see that a review of ‘management’ is having to take place and I have to think is this the calm before the storm, the jury I have to say is out on this.
Anyway Wrexham Council well run and managed in these turbulent times MY ARSE
woogleeyeParticipantMy what a surprise that it was rejected it now shows how inept these councillors are and that they are so above us ordinary council tax payers.
Pigs and troughs, gravy train, take everything that is available because at the end of the day the privileged parking is a perk in these times of “financial restructure” and should be removed but as I have said previously it appears that it is a sacred cow and they (councillors) have spoken and decided that it must remain.
Ask the general public for practical and realistic initiatives what a joke its all smoke and mirrors.
woogleeyeParticipantJust to clarify the “privileged” (free parking) relates also at Crown Buildings and The Peoples Market and not just the Guildhall.
