What has a hazel nut in every bite……Trotic.
    Equine Delight.
    The list is endless.

Rather tacky. I think it would be a great idea if there was a competition in the town to a proper beach in the Caribbean. This would give a poor soul a chance to escape for a week or two.

    * Karaoke competition -This could bring the old drunks to Queen’s square, Wrexham for a breath of fresh air.
    * Fashion competition – A chance to see the well dressed….maybe not
    * Arm wrestling competition – For those little ***** who think they are so tough.

£8,500 could go towards sprucing up the town every little helps.

I am not an old drunk, well I might be old but I drink in moderation. Would I be eligible to enter the karaoke? I sing like a rusty drum but am up for it lol.

I might be ok in the fashion competition. I NEVER do my shopping in my flannelette pjs and fluffy slippers so I might be in with a chance!

Now you’ve got me on the arm wrestling. My grips not too good and my muscles are not bulging but a bit of a tickle to my opponent might just sway it for me or is that cheating?

I’m always relaxed untll I hit the jobs, and find people just about capable of breathing in and out while standing up working in the town, there are good people without work, and some of the “staff” in the stores around this town make me question my faith in humanity.

People love this town… park in tesco / waterworld or the peoples market, and walk down to island green, get hastle from any number of drunk tramp, charles street right on past KFC both directions, then if U do make it to a store, it’s shut, moved to EM, or staffed by imcompetant rude people.

Today I tired to by a product from argos, to be told “its’ no in stock” everytime I go to that place, it’s not in stock, they have two HUGE stores, keep items in stock, go to the 24hr tesco, upstairs is shut random nights, usually friday / saturday for no good reason,

not a single decent thing exists here,

Have you tried reserving the goods in Argos? I always check if they are in stock and if they are I reserve it that way I make sure I can have the goods I want. If it’s out of stock I try somewhere else or wait until it’s restocked.

I don”t think I shop in the same Wrexham as you do as I have found most shop assistants to be friendly and helpful. If I find an awkward one I shop elsewhere.

I have been approached by pan handlers in the town centre but a sweet smile and the shake of the head is usually all it takes to convince them that I am not an easy touch.

I still love Wrexham. It might have faults but where doesn’t? I am comfortable with the town and the people who live here and never feel threatened. There are worse places to live. I am keeping my rose tinted glasses firmly in place.

I remember Wagon Wheels being bigger than they are now. Three bites and it’s gone! I think to keep the price competitive they reduce the product.

I buy ‘miracle’ creams to help hold back the ravages of time (by the way they aren’t working) and they look good in the shop. When I unpack them they are two thirds packaging and one third product.

A fool and his money are soon parted. Say ‘Hello’ to one big fool lol.

If the budget is cut and the council have to find the shortfall then something else loses out. I hope Kerbcraft survives intact (we had the green cross code in my day) but it makes me wonder what other cuts are lurking in the background.

Unfortunately some might use it as a litter box but if it’s fitted with a lid or cover of some description it can be protected. It’s only one of a couple of ideas being looked into. It may not become reality.

Great idea Michelle. The area would have the environmental clean up it needed and the offenders would be able to repay their debt to society in a practical way.

The weather could make or break the idea if it becomes reality. If the weather is nice and lots of people attend the council would be congratulated but woe betide them if it fails.

I would pop along in my lunch break to watch if not participate as I do when the ice rink is in Queen’s Square.

Something needs to be done to attract folk into the town centre.

I am guilty of over looking this part of the town. I will from now on make the effort to visit once a week in my lunch break. What stalls in which market can anyone recommend?
