No doubt shopper’s will be made to feel JUST as unwelcome to park in Eagles Meadow as they were before.

This is the trouble when a group of White British Christians want to be seen as an “ethnic group”. Nobody dare have an opinion without being branded a racist

…and these people want to be accepted into modern society without being subjected to prejudice and general suspicion? As the old saying goes “Give them enough rope…”

I drive in and out of Asda at least a dozen times a day. Once drivers figure out that by turning Right at the mini roundabout they avoid a second set of speedbumps the carpark will start to gridlock on busy shopping days.

Mark obviously is comfortable in his lifestyle and those of us familiar with him know what to expect off him ( in terms of verbal harassment ) I remember a story though concerning him begging for money for “food” upon when someone gave him a bag of chips, his reaction…throw them in a bin and scowl.

Ten years ago I stopped taking my car to a garage in Hope because of charging for screenwash. I never complained – just knew where I stood on the “mug’o’meter” and took my business elsewhere.

The customer has the option to ask a Private Hire driver what the fare will be in advance…assuming there is no breaks in the journey incurring waiting time ( typically £1.50 for 5 minutes ) then that is what they pay. In many instance it is now cheaper for two people to share a taxi/p.h vehicle than pay for a bus.

There is definitely a large degree of public ignorance in what defines a Taxi/Hackney and a Private Hire Vehicle.
As a Private Hire driver I dread being approached by members of the public ( usually whipping open my drivers door of all things ) when I’m parking up, even off shift…EVEN with my own Children in the car, and having to explain to them.
