Having to drag things from the mists of time but, if I remember correctly, the door widths were made sufficient to move beds around. There used to be (not sure if it’s still there, a link to a standby generator, possibly in what’s now the art college – was a technical and mining college I think. Previously it was a hospital.
There are voids underneath Glyndwr.

Apparently it’s full of asbestos, so blowing it up wouldn’t be a good move. 😳

I’m sure there would be a welcome to Wales. 🙂
“Lots of the jobs they do no British person would get out of bed to do.”

Who did these jobs before mass immigration then?
They weren’t needed in the numbers that we do now as most families stayed together and looked after their own elderly.
Women who did work tended to be in part time jobs and the man’s earnings, even in relatively ordinary jobs, was sufficient to buy/rent somewhere to live and cover day to day bills, even have holidays. That’s no longer the case.
Even families with both parents working are struggling, and in some cases in need of assistance.
There’s little or no possibility or caring for the elderly at home.

I’ll probably be busy trying to work out how to reduce the negative effect it will have on my, and my friends, businesses!
Mountains of more paperwork, taxes and delays.
Just what we need! :-(

Interesting how quickly a posting can go off topic. This must be one of the fastest yet. :-)

It was a legal decision, nothing to do with Brexit, money trees or anything else.
He lied/gave bad advice, to the Queen.
Hardly surprising from a serial liar but there we go.

To those who say the decision was made at the referendum, would you say I would like to buy that house.. Don’t worry I will sign up even though I don’t know what the inside looks like.?

That might be a good point…….except the people who voted have been inside that house for the last 40 years + and know precisely what it looks like. Additionally, they are mainly aware that next year some new rules are being introduced courtesy of the Lisbon treaty that will make their lives even more constrained
In fact, nobody has ever been in the house, they’ve been in another house that some have decided they were no longer keen on and wanted to move.
Only now is the reality of the construction, and content, of the new house becoming clear and, rather than the grass being greener, the new property has no grass, almost certainly problems with utilities, higher rates and smaller rooms. For many it’s going to be more difficult, and expensive, to get to work.

An MP is a representative of his constituents, not a delegate solely for those who voted for him.
His loyalty should be to every constituent, those who can vote, those who can’t. The young, the old, and those with difficulties. He’s there to make a judgement as to what will provide the maximum benefit for the constituency as a whole.
I’m pleased he’s sticking to the courage of his convictions and have seen nothing that makes me feel he’s incorrect.

No, it’s saying we need to force Brexit through that would result in the name calling!

Exactly where are they going to find these doctors to recruit?
There’s already a large number of unfilled vacancies.

You can only train people if the want to be trained, courses are undersubscribed and those in training often don’t want the pressures that come with being a GP.

Training a GP takes about 10 years.

It took a few years for my last doctor to find a replacement so he could retire!
