TheresaParticipantMaybe a word with Asda’s speed bump department would help sort it out! No one would even drive through!
TheresaParticipantI also think it should be called Wrexham or North Wales prison. Why make it complicated?
TheresaParticipantYou too and thank you :)
TheresaParticipantWell, customer safety wasn’t high on the list when they placed the pedestrian crossings in such stupid, blind spot locations in the first place!
The pedestrian crossings are in a location where an accident has happened/ is waiting to happen, but instead of addressing the issue by moving the crossings, they decided to penalise the motorist by installing the worst speed bumps ever (along with the ones on the Border Retail Park)!
Maybe a pedestrian awareness bump would have been more appropriate!:
Dear Pedestrian,
These pedestrian bumps are here to make you aware that due to our inconsiderate and badly thought out planning, approaching vehicles may find it hard to see you and may therefore knock you over on their approach to the car park.
Please look at vehicles and drivers as they approach and see if they are aware of or care about your existence.
If not, please remain where you are until a driver is aware of your existence and your desire to cross the road.
Should you attempt to cross at this unsuitable location without stopping, looking and listening, please be aware that neither the driver of the vehicle, nor Asda is liable for anything that happens next.
It is private land and as Asda hold no liability or cares about what happens to vehicles on their site, then the same applies to the pedestrian.
Thanks for reading and tread carefully! The Asda Team, Wrexham.
:D
TheresaParticipantYes, to my despair, I noticed there was more there yesterday :(
TheresaParticipantI agree with the speed bumps being outside schools, etc.
Between speed bumps and pot holes, I’ve had enough and so has my poor car.
Yeah, recently advised on the MOT that my nearside ball joint is worn, so that will have to be a new lower arm replacement.
Trying to go over speed bumps more on the offside now, just to even things out.
Now, thanks to Asda, my problem is just going to get worse (and more pedestrians run over due to me not looking at them trying to cross any more lol ).
TheresaParticipantExcellent, well done :)
TheresaParticipantWhile I’m here, what is it with people not indicating? Sick of guessing where people intend to go ffs!
Also, people/neighbours parking over driveways is extremely annoying, as well as people parking on pavements:mad:

That’ll be because the likes of myself will stay in line with the queue and get pissed off with the people that race down the outside and expect to be let in.
So no, I won’t let them in neither, they can wait in the queue like everyone else!
TheresaParticipantI don’t see what the fuss is about.
It’s a lorry that’s seen to symbolise Christmas is coming, which kids love, so parents taking their kids to see it in real life is for the joy of seeing their kids faces light up when they are next to the lorry (as well as their own childhood memories enjoyment :D ).
Coke may or may not be bad for you. Who cares? It’s down to the individual to decide whether they want to drink it or not. Same as smoking, same as drinking, same as driving down the A483 fast every day. They could all kill you eventually in some way or another.
Parents have a responsibility to their kids, so I agree that parents should maybe avoid giving them sweet, fizzy drinks, but then do we ban chips, chocolate, etc too?
Foods/drinks all have their problems in some form or another, but it’s down to the individual to decide what they want and what they want their kids to have.
Personally, I don’t drink Coke or many other fizzy drinks, but I don’t see the harm in them occasionally, like anything else that’s ‘bad’ for you.
