Let’s face it … the councillors do as the officers say, like mindless bunnies.  The officers suggest commissioning outside “consultants” who make a living out of scaremongering and closing places within set times to obtain further bonus payment.

There is enough expertise amongst the professional people of Wrexham to accomplish the tasks involved for possibly 20 % or even less of the fees the consultants charge.  Some would maybe give of their time freely, for the community.

All councillors, whatever there position on the council, should consider first what their electorate would want … screw the recommendations of the officers, who are again specialists and do not have the heart of the populace not perhaps the expertise to take in the full picture.

Time to change things…. The ball is now in your court councillors of Wrexham!

According to the Daily Post, our planning committee councillors (lower case deliberate) have approved the desecration of farmland in the interests of profiteering.  Damnation to them.  I am appalled at their stupidity and short sightedness.

Vote them out in the next election!

So……….. Council Planning Committee meet tomorrow … Monday 30th March.

If they let this abhorrent use of greenfield land through, then this will create a precedent, for any and everyone who has a spare piece of land available, to have a strong arguement to build on that land. I hope no one responds using past ‘designated land usage’ granted under a previous LDP, because Wrexham does not have a current LDP and all past LDPs are redundant as is any granting of designated rights under those LDPs if not taken up within the lifetime of that LDP.

I urge ALL representatives of their electorate to vote against this proposal.

I will also point out that if brownfield sites are considered to be ‘unprofitable’ because of the cost of reinstatement of safety and clean sites, then as an excuse for that to make an arguement for using greenfield sites it will lead to one thing. That is… the expansion of using greenfield farmland and an eating up of rural and ‘easy’ to develop sites, benefiting only the capitalist profiteers and not the electorate or the people of Ruabon or Wrexham.

Try it if you wish… but mark my words.

Councillors… start working for your electorate if you have the real knowledge of where this could lead, and vote NO!

Then an organised protest using the Welsh Governments own Planning law and guides must be organised. It’s a shame Wrexham does not have a Local Development Plan!

Does this mean that the Landfill company get control and more Liverpool crap is dumped in the area. NO NO NO WAY.

If money is to be raised it should be solely for the refurbishment or replacement of playground equipment and whatever else is needed.

High time Wrexham Council *spits* got its collective arse together and came up with REAL solutions that benefited the population of Wrexham.

No No NO to any outside company coming in to the detriment of the Bellevue Park.

I challenge Wrexham Councillors… enmasse to a Public Debate on this issue. A debate with a vote at the end of it which members of the public WILL take part in.

Come on cowboys…. state your case…. a dump for outsiders rubbish or what??? NO to another Johnstown stench area.

Would public pressure suffice? It should for the public ARE the electorate and the Council MUST respond and do as the ELECTORATE demand. No question about that … if you don’t want what your electorate wants…. you get out… or you get out on the next election.

GET RID OF THE ‘CABINET’ SYSTEM. Load of ‘toss***’ anyway.

Who cares? As long as one can get a cab when one needs one. I have used cabs/taxis daily for the past 15 years, so I do have a lot of experience. Incidentally I have never changed the firm once. So, if you are happy with the service they provide…. who cares :)
