Having avoided the junction for the last few months, I used it for the first time the other night when traveling home from Chester. While I was pleasantly surprised by the improved traffic flow I was concerned by the unfinished nature of the whole project (Armco Barriers not terminated correctly or missing, pavements and verges still needing repair and plastic conduit sticking out of ground).

Does anyone know if there are any plans to complete these tasks

Cars still parking on the footpath, is it a job for the police or traffic wardens to stop this.

Since march 2008 the Police are no longer responsible for Parking in Wrexham, unless you are obstructing the highway (which you are not if you park on a pavement  ) so its down to the council enforcement officers (think that’s what they call traffic wardens now :) ) and as parking issues are no longer a criminal offence all they can do is hand out fixed penalties if they see someone the flaunting the regulations.

Also bear in mind that the regulations only prohibit parking on the pavement in London, everywhere else in the country it is only recommended unless signed as not allowed :(

    2) Who are the people looking to cross the A55 on a footbridge? I don’t think I have ever seen pedestrians around there? The need to install one?

The Highways agency MUST provide the ability for all forms of transport to travel a route (including what they describe as Non-Motorised Users). So they need the bridge so people, bikes, horses etc can cross the A55 if required as the (very small) pavements/verges will disapear from the roundabout
