While the Walled Garden is under a lease, that lease could be sold off as and when building work starts.
Social Services have already made some enquiries about the enterprise moving across the by-pass to the Millennium EcoCentre.

The only positive and permanent solution is for the Council to come up with ways of getting people into town without having to use their cars. A good park&ride system would solve all this parking aggro.

In terms of local jobs at the prison, DWP guidelines define local jobs as being within one hour’s drive of your home. So a local job could be filled by someone living in Manchester or Liverpool.

As a bus user, I’d say the driver is right. People use bus stops as a convenient shelters and as pick-up points for lifts. I’ve seen buses pull into stops where people were standing, only for no-one to actually get on. Multiply that by 10 stops per route and then there’ll be complaints about lateness.

No-one mentions that the real reason behind all the closure/development plans is the reduction in central government funding from the Tory-led coalition government. Don’t blame the Council. And don’t let Andrew Atkinson get on board prasing any initiatives – his Tory pals have caused all this.

Blimey! There are more businesses in Caergwrle than there are in Wrexham town centre!

Ah, the 6 Nations. When people who take no interest in rugby from April to January assert their undying love for their national team.
