To be fair, crossing Prices Lane by the Walnut has never been easier and cycling along Rhosddu Road over the junction has never been safer.
The footpath under the bridge is much more important a route than the road under the bridge. The traffic diversion, even with a bit of a wait up Grosvenor Road, only adds a couple of minutes to the journey. If the footpath closed, the nearest alternative route is a twenty five minute walk.
Not much point in pressing Arriva Trains Wales (a Deutsche Bahn company) for additional trains between Wrexham and Chester when Arriva Bus Wales (a Deutsche Bahn company) has a shiny new fleet of buses running every ten minutes between Wrexham and Chester.
Obviously just a coincidence that the Assembly is also looking into establishing a new railway station, currently designated “Wrexham North”, which will obviously be Rossett. Look out for these new homes to be snapped up by people working in Liverpool and Manchester.
If candidates call themselves “independent”, then they should be standing on their own cognisance and should be expressing their own views and ideas of how they would be running the town. If these so-called independents start coalescinG into a grouping, then they are no longer independent. Candidates running under the auspices of a particular political party have a clear manifesto to work towards, typically drafted in a consultative manner and addressing the situation across the entire Borough rather than on a ward-by-waRd basis.
