Not many musicians get into music for money, most do it for the love of making/playing music. It’s not about money for the serious musician. Good luck to them. Slagging off a really good idea just shows an awful lot.

“slagging off” yes you got that right and only because as a singer in a rock band i know how much things cost first hand first off the equpiment, a small pa is around £500,(you could hire one for about £60 but!! ) then to pay for a room to practice in is about £15 a session, to learn a set of say 1hr of songs take a good band around 10 sessions, oh then you have the cost of guitars drums amps etc oh and then you have to get there !!!!!!!!! mmmmmm yes we do it for the love of music but we do ask in return a few quid to pay towards the cost of fuel and a pint or pop I dont think thats too much to ask for DO YOU ???
what is your job and would you do it ??????????????

The talent of this land that is I can see musicians all across the world trying to play on streets in parks begging for money so they can buy instruments etc O M G WHAT WOULD WREXHAM LOOK LIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not only are the cutting the funding on the VIC!!!!!!!!! But want Wrexham bands and musicians to play for free
THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH

Hello ! I am a musician with a big house looking for a restaurateur to come to my house to promote his/her restaurant by making dinner for me and my friends. This is not a paying job, but only for special events which will eventually turn into a nightly event if we get a positive response. More fine dining & exotic meals and mixed Ethnic Fusion cuisine. Are you interested to promote your restaurant? Please reply back ASAP

OK, time for a maths lesson here.

365 houses means about 1200 people, add that to the 5000 and that comes to 6200. The Legion want to relocate and use the land for houses to at least another 400 people and now we reach 6600 and then with the extra affordable housing by the school and community centre maybe another 400, WOW we have just reached 7,000.

Rhosrobin applications in the pipe line 500 houses so most likely 1500+ so in the region of Llay and the Llay New Road area we are talking on an increase of just over 3000 extra beings to find doctors, school places, transport for.

So i take it if your maths in good order that’s approx. 3000 more people in and around Llay yes?

My Bet is the shops are going to have a party? Just say each one will spend’s £5 per day on food and clothing (notand i bet that’s beeing very very frugal) so that’s a staggering £15,000.00 a day and £105,000 a week in one year that’s, £5’460,000.00 not bad to put in the local economy :D
