I would never ride on the road if I rode a bike. Why? Because too many lunatic car drivers want to run cyclists off it
So it’s ok to not use cycle lanes, nor the roads, but use the footpaths and run down pedestrians instead is it?
I think cyclists should be made to pay road tax and forced to use cycle lanes, and in their absence the roads.
How’s that for an idea!!!!
seanebParticipantI see this topic has finally reached parliament.
Unfortunately the latest, hot-off-the-press data that Ofcom are using to inform the government of the situation is a year old.
However, its worth noting that even then the results are among the lowest available, and that was before the problems we have experienced this year.
Maybe local businesses could form a lobby group and invite Ian Lucas to a meeting to explain why we are having to put up with such terrible service from the phone companies and to answer questions about how he can help and why we are BEING IGNORED!!!!!!

Was begining to think that it was just my phone but it does seem that more people are having the same problem so now I know its not my phone.
Its driving me mad now too, thinking of switching network.
Changing networks wont make any difference because all networks are effected the same.

Ive been having issues with EE/three again in the town centre since last tuesday , same as last time, full 3G signal but no webpages will load and apps wont work:mad::mad:
anyone else?
Yes it’s all gone back to square 1 again. Same as before. It makes me so angry at times that I am paying for something that I don’t get. Can’t send photos or even iMessage.
SICK OF IT.
seanebParticipantI concur. EE 3G now working in town centre. Now, let’s see what they have to say about compensation for continuing to take payments for a service they failed to provide!!
seanebParticipantYes and my colleague currently has just over 17Mb/s on 3 in work on LLay industrial estate. Maybe it’s time to migrate from EE to 3.
seanebParticipantStill no Orange 3G around Wrexham, Llay, Oswestry.
seanebParticipantI’ve had enough of it all now. This last month 3G coverage is intermittent at best in my place of work (Llay industrial estate). There didn’t used to be a problem there.
My 2 iphone contracts both end in January. As things are I will be moving to 3 because they have 3G coverage at work.
Bye bye EE, and good riddance.
seanebParticipantI have been all over town today. There has been a slight improvement in some places i.e. 3G is there one minute and gone the next. There is now free wifi all over Eagles Meadow, but only Eagles Meadow.
Although this does help with the zero 3G coverage, it only does so by masking the problem-we are still paying for 3G and not getting it.

Why do you think it’s OK for people on mobile phone contracts to just accept that they are not getting the service they are paying for ?
I’m not on contract but I think it stinks that mobile companies are doing nothing to improve the signal. They must know what the issue is but they are simply not sorting it out, whilst happily taking £10 / £20 / £30 a month off their customers.
