    Erm:

1 The people decide on the system of democracy
2 Society at its centre has a value system
3 People develop themselves at a rate they please without detriment to others

Very interesting angles here again but, on the above points with the state of play as it is currently:

1, Not in my eyes. The ‘posh boys’ , to coin a phase, pick who, where & when. It’s all to do with boundaries, historical & representation and a lot of how much BS Joe public can consume in a certain area.
2, Greed is currently at the centre of societies value system.
3, Some people just opt out of mainstream society. This has been allowed for decades. Your now into 2-3 generation of forgotten kids / adults. Detrimental to others ? The welfare state is not currently getting reviewed for a laugh. The taxpayers cannot carry this burden forever!
4, See answer #1. True representation, I don’t think I’ll ever see it in my lifetime. Too much of all the above at present to have a true level playing field.

Re: Single integrated Plan. Not gonna work or change a thing apart from feed another bunch of Civil servants with fat salaries.
It’s real name should be: “The lets act like a democracy, yet steer everyone like sheep Plan”.

I’m very sceptical of Posh Boy wannabe’s deciding what’s gonna be good for my children’s future in this community!

Interesting, I’m not up to speed on the butler act, sorry, but I do feel that everyone should have a chance in life.
Far to many youngsters are wrote off with stereotypical values assisted by teachers who can’t say boo to a pupil without fear of ending their career.
At this stage in life, morals are honed ready for their release into society.
Quite a few are launched out into the big wide world with little or no morals and backing that up with fewer basic life skills.
How does the future local Society cope with them ?

Don’t create them, give them something to work towards, light at the end of the tunnel and all that.

So, what is this topic trying to address ?
Is it trying to create a top ten points of issue that the WCBC’s residents see’s that it is important for Wrexham’s future ? Then set a priority for them ?
Then, obviously, who to address and hold responsible for taking ‘our’ action plan forward ?
Or is this too simplistic ?

Please tell me this is some form of teenage prank.
I’ve just read it and I have quickly assessed that it was either wrote by:

A schoolchild who has copied and pasted everything that’s good & obvious off Wikipedia.

Or some spaced out hippie who still thinks that free love & flower power is a political direction, lay off the chemicals !

Or finally, someone or a group of somebodies who are so focused on what they are seeing through their rose tinted glasses, they are oblivious to what’s actually happening under their noses.

Sorry for the skepticism, but if They want to put this drivel into the public domain, what sort of reaction do they expect ?

I see some interesting points by forum members however.
Regarding providing skill sets for the areas future.
Personally, Britain, not just Wrexham should start investing in ALL skill sets to bring quality industry back to us as a nation.
I’m not talking about producing a nation of rocket engineer’s. A nation of people who have the basic 3 r’s would be a start. We as a nation can’t supply this basic civilised world requirement any more for some. Albeit, they may not want to be educated, we as a society let them have this choice of ‘ can’t be asked ! ‘.
It’s a case of get the basics right and up the national average, the overall skill standard should follow.

The only chance you have of getting away with the sand is if you use recyclable and hope no one does a risk assessment on the weapon of mass destruction.

If a cat uses it as a litter tray !!! The town centre may have to be cordoned off and the WCBC Emergency litter tray Committee would have to be called to oversee the disaster.

I would like to see an old style theme. A Punch and Judy show, coconut shy and candy floss. Maybe a minature train ride and those old style whats its you poke your head through to have your picture taken and a test your strength thingy. I am not very classy!

I would love that too, but :

Punch & Judy is now not PC and to violent.
The coconut shy is now ruled dangerous.
Candy floss is not healthy eating.
The miniature train ride maybe ok, as long at it doesn’t pollute.
Old style photo thing, demeaning and degrading.
Test your strength thingy, your alieninating wimps.

    Welcome to modern day UK.

Thank you Welsh Dresser for your thanks and good wishes.
A few read this forum, but select to use anonymity on here and in our campaign.
It’s great to let everyone have a voice and have the ability to access facts and data for themselves. Then make a judgement.
I personally would like to thank all the well wishers of our campaign, several have contacted us via various methods.
When I read a derogatory email or tweet, I always remember a quiet old gentleman in our community to remind me why this cause is so important.
When he speaks, it’s almost always in the past tense, from days long ago on how it used to be. He talks about the Steelworks, the busyness of it all.
He remembers the residents of the village that have now gone to meet their maker.
But after all them happy Tanyfron memories, I remember the day when he showed me the pre project development plan before any blade of grass was ever touched on the site. It promises a modern , open place to live, it hints at the openness and excellent prospective available views.
It sells itself about 300 – 400 friendly homes being integrated into the countryside and the villages of Brymbo & Tanyfron.
The spine road was pivotal to the project, the back bone of the new development, with the possibility of a school, shops & supermarket.

Nowadays, he scowls at what’s happened in his community since the turn of the century, the promises & the lack of fulfilment, the excuses & the reasons.
He’s seen politicians come and go, he’s seen this village give, give, give, whilst some people see fit to rape the area until there is nothing left to take.
That look in his face is what motivates me personally, and in turn, adds fuel to our campaign.

We are not against the Spine road, we are not against the Shops, retail or industry coming.
What we are against is the plundering of all of our communities fields and grasslands for the sake of profiteering whilst flying under the banner of doing our communities a favour. Please, ask us before telling us what we want & what we need. Ask my old gentleman friend, ask his great grand kids, ask their mother, ask the community your changing forever before deciding what we want.

Sorry for rambling a little, but bottom line, a massive thank you to all supporters.

Thanks for the congratulations but I am just a spokesman for some everyday residents of Tanyfron. We are acting as a community together.

You should be congratulating common sense and decency has come on top in this instance, but this is just one step in the long battle ahead.

Interestingly, Cllr Paul Rogers first response on Twitter was

Paul Rogers (@cllrpaulrogers) tweeted at 10:01 PM on Tue, May 14, 2013:
When will some people realise that it was BRYMBO steelworks?
Its time Brymbo had the investment it deserves.

Is this an indication of his disregard for certain areas of his ward ?

I’ve asked for him to clarify his his statement, no response as of yet.

If you do have any help from Plaid Cymru can you let us know. I am seriously considering voting for them next time based on their answer to you.

I cannot fault Plaid Cymru on any aspect when I have required information and their offer of representation is still valid.

Very refreshing when I’ve been dealing with the seedier side of local politics as of lately.

Well, sorry for a belated update on this matter.
It seems that off the record the WCBC are very aware that in 2015, with the introduction of the new regional LDP’s, the BDL could just continue building on the site with no legal obligation to provide the local community with the promised infrastructure and they’d be virtually powerless to stop it, (according to a WCBC representative). Strange one that, I know.

It has also been stated to me that IF this application does not go through, the BDL could see fit to walk away, again, with no obligations.

The above statements are verifiable facts.

Fresh recent news is that it seems that ‘certain elements & information’ about the overall project are not being made known to some local residents.
Scaremongering it seems the norm of rallying support for the development.

Today I’ve spoken to some residents where they have either been fed disinformation or incomplete information. They were alarmed at this when shown what can actually be found in the public domain.

Their eyes were opened & I expect some ‘reaction’ to them being told the whole picture.

Dirty tricks, even in local communities…………..politics. Shame on you.

And, sorry, in this instance, due to further action being taken, I am not publicly revealing the culprit, so please don’t ask, have a good guess.
