I remember seeing a fantastic wrestling match with Jackie Pallo. Saw some great groups there too,

In today’s Leader they said it would be at Llywn Isaf and have deck chairs and parasols. I hope we have a better summer than last year then.

I know it was run at a great loss, I did have the figures at the time.
I doubt they’d want to have it here ever again.

It was like when we had the National Eisteddfordd in Wrexham, it was said that all the traders in the town would feel the benefit. In fact I don’t know anyone in the town that took extra while it was on.
So If they think this beach will make the tills ring, I think they may have it all wrong again.

Well said, I suppose, the past 10 years of the club’s history has been nothing short of shocking. Pryce Griffiths was booed at Wembley, so the fans know the background.

My opinion remains the same though. It would be great if we had a gate of 18.000 for every home game, but unfortunately that’s not going to happen.

Most of them that travelled to Wembley went to say they’d been to the ground, and of course because they had reason to go because their local team were playing there. Alas the Racecourse wont see a quarter of them at the turnstiles year in year out.
I doubt even if the 18000 would turn up to cheer the team through the town If they don’t get out of the Conference this year.

Queens square is the most likely I suppose, that’s where they’ve had a skating rink foe a few years. Plenty of room there too, apart maybe market traders may not be too happy, not that there are many of them these days.

You can bet that the likes of Debenhams and M&S will have someone on the door watching for people with sand on trying to enter.
