I’ve only had fish n chips once from Eddie’s and I must agree they were great.
Never ate in the priory street cafe but I know people who eat there regularly and have praised it.
Anyone recommend good Chinese chippys, Fongs garden, The Slowboat etc.

I have been to the Gwersylt one some time ago and they are very nice, handy on a Sunday when you don’t want to cook at home.

No point, they were homeless and from the Merseyside area, someone mentioned that there is a way of getting some sort of compensation from somewhere but haven’t gone into that.

It doesn’t give me any faith in reporting a crime to the Police any more. Having had to fork out to pay for damage to my car when they had the culprits on camera and let them go.

My car was broken into in December with £450 damage and things stolen from the glove compartment. They had the lads on CCTV but the crown prosecutor said that wasn’t enough evidence to prosecute them. So I’m left with paying
for that damage myself while the get off scot free.

Perhaps they didn’t have enough business, but it always seemed busy to me.

I may have mentioned this before, in December my car was broken into while parked in the car park behind Chester street. The officer who attended said they’d got the two culprits on CCTV and had them in custody.
After a few months I contacted the Police to see if they’d been prosecuted, the damage came to over £450.
The officer said they’d taken the case to the crown prosecutor with the CCTV evidence. The crown prosecutor said there wasn’t enough evidence so they paid assisted passage to the two lads to return home to Liverpool where they lived.
Makes me wonder what the point of CCTV if they don’t use it as evidence of a crime.

So true there, another that went on for ages was George Roper, he went on for 2 hours and was only booked for a 45 minute spot.
