I see this every time I go to Tesco Simon. People parking and walking into town. I often wonder when I see the car park quite full where are the people inside Tesco. It always appears that there might be 100 cars parked and about 20 inside the store.
You say High Street is dead, so true. But so is Eagles Meadow. Not many units will remain open in the coming months.
It would have been far better to have made an indoor shopping centre actually in the town centre with multi storey car park on the periphery. Town planners over the past twenty years years have been atrocious and have no idea
of what our town needs. City status???? Someone’s having a joke.
The town is a damn mess. If it’s not homeless harassing you for money or cigarettes it’s trying to dodge cranes and diggers. Monday, a couple visiting from Corwen sat in Nero’s before heading home saying what a dump the town was and in future they would shop elsewhere. They had been sitting outside the lady told me and was asked by a woman for a cigarette, when they said they didn’t smoke the woman let fly with: You F…G snobs, who the F..k do you think you are. It’s my home town but I admit I feel ashamed at the way it is right now.
Yes you are absolutely correct there. Even doing 31mph in a 30 area you can be nicked. There are many who have done the speed awareness course that will testify to that.
I just wonder how long is “Temporary” There’s little point in having a dual carriageway if you are limited to
a mere 50 mph. It’s far more dangerous to keep looking down at your speedometer taking your eyes off the road ahead all the while than it is to drive a normal dual carriageway speed.
I love his tomato sausages the best…really tasty and yummy.
