Owain GlyndwrParticipanti like the idea of it becoming part of the canal system …. it probably will do gain if we get the promised ‘flooding’!
Owain GlyndwrParticipant
Have you never heard of the Gresford disaster Owain? How do you think that Gresford Colliery was reopened after such a massive explosion? Who do you think made the underground workings safe to be worked for another 40 years?

Thank you for pointing that out Zinger, i assumed it was a typo
Owain GlyndwrParticipantMine Rescue Centre …… ?

Yer, good point Matt, give me a spaced out spiced up Zombie any day!
Surprise, surprise, Chester has spaced out spiced up Zombies too. I saw them as I went to the theatre the other night.
So Chester scores over Wrexham yet again, it has two types of undesirables!
Bloody Chester … zombies in theatres …. how very upmarket!
Owain GlyndwrParticipant
Drive this road every week like some of the other posts — people driving with pilots licence —
road rage Lunatics —
most tricky part is the bridge — they come down the hill from Wrexham direction and hit gear 10 near the bottom and from the other direction the jet fighter pilots appear bobbing & weaving.
Both ends of the bridge need narrowing with whatever lines and a double white line in the middle so it is single file on the bridge; this will stop 95% of the buffoon drivers misbehaving.
Anyone of the remaining 5% causing an accident on that stretch should be hammered by the courts.
Owain GlyndwrParticipant
It would be highly unlikely that any local candidates would even question whether what Central Office was doing might have been illegal- I’m sure they would expect to ‘trust’ those in a head office.

Owain GlyndwrParticipantChannel 4 News alleges the Conservative Party operated a ‘secret call centre’ during the recent General Election campaign, claiming the operation could have broken both electoral and data protection laws.
Does Andrew have dirty hands?
June 21, 2017 at 8:47 am in reply to: I don't like Corbyn's policies but the local alternative is Andrew Atkinson …. #133175
Owain GlyndwrParticipant
Bloody hell, people are still talking about Atkinson. Election is over and he’s now lost 3 times in Wrexham, but it sounds like he has got a boat-load of free publicity for his window cleaning business. Time for the Tories to wheel out someone else if they ever expect to have any shout in Wrexham.

Matt, I was there was a “like” button as this made me smile.welshman1000, after all of the Tory U-Turns, I know I voted the right way.
At least the Tory/ DUP deal is popular with everyone …………

Owain GlyndwrParticipantI thought that man of the people, Andrew the Window Cleaner Atkinson came across like one of your pals on ITV and even popped to the boozer before the results.
I cannot help thinking that he missed a trick though. He would have had a few more votes from the common people had he chosen another profession to endear himself to us…
June 9, 2017 at 11:56 am in reply to: I don't like Corbyn's policies but the local alternative is Andrew Atkinson …. #132666
Owain GlyndwrParticipantGlad to see that Andrew didn’t get in and Corbyn came through in the end!
Thanks for your input here guys! -
