Aha, I recognise the van now Chris. I understand what you mean!

Puts us on the map- the pics you’ve posted of the town actually look quite nice. But why was one of the torch bearers from Northwich? No-one else in Wrexham interested?

It seems Starbucks, Subway and Harvester are targeting the out of town, near transport links areas for their businesses. The one at Croesfoel would be ideal if the current Little Chef are failing.

Quite a few schools have told their pupils they can come in late- yet they complain when attendance is affected?

Its a complete waste of money in my opinion.

I know someone who was involved in accident along there a few years ago. A pedestrian with learning difficulties was hit as she walked along the road, but possibly not near the side. Fortunately the driver was police trained and managed to react quickly just clipping her but caught an oncoming car. I wouldn’t want to walk along that stretch of road at all.

People don’t seem to indicate on the Tesco roundabout. And the fact that there are two exit lanes going towards Eagles Meadow doesn’t help. It confuses people trying to dive out of Tesco.

The best change in the Town?

I think all these new foreign people are good for the Town, they add culture to it.

Not only that, they drown out the familiars a little that so many of us are sick of.

Ooh devils advocate! Wrexham did have culture before- track suits, white socks!

The uni brings in a few hundred a year, but most never venture into town except for food.

Under Rhosddu railway bridge. I’d love to know how many wing mirrors have been lost under there

Sainsburys Roundabout. People don’t stick to the lanes. It’s like playing russian roulette negotiating that roundabout!

I was told long ago that the Rhosddu bridge was intended to be single file traffic but our local authority didn’t install the traffic lights! The nearby junction is probably one location where a roundabout might actually be better. I drive this twice a day- even the cyclists can’t get the junction right!

Speed ramps have cost me a fortune in suspension parts over past few years. My local garage has seen a rise in work from them at least!
