“however a well known high street name has been mooted to take over one of the units” …Still wondering who the Well known high street name is?
Once one new shop goes there i bet a few more will follow.
No I really have no idea, but Wrexham.com reporting what was said “worst kept secret” you would have though we in Wrexham would all know? But i now want to know.
Please Wrexham Council no subscription chargers like most like the on at Ramada Hotel, we need either list contact less charge or subscription at a lower price but also no subscription option.
Charging from street light is the ideal way to charge but 2 things night hamper that. 1 the street lamp has to be on the road side, majority are on the pavement side close to the houses. 2. If charging over night stopping some toe rag from not stealing the charging cord.
Rapid charge at petrol stations may help us including me that live in a terrace house with & no pavements. Interesting times ahead!
So logically car park spaces with a charging point will only be available to electric vehicles, reducing the number of spaces available to other vehicles?
Yes I agree but over the next 5 to 10 years over 80% of new cars will be fully electric or part electric so having some charging only bays are needed but how many are Wrexham adding & will they enforce Electric Charging only in those bays?
To stop car park spaces being used up too much its better to have RAPID charging points in petrol stations & supermarkets where you only spend 10 to 30 minutes in & with Rapid charging that will charge your car by 40 – 80%
Hopefully but I am not hopeful, more 2 bedroom starter homes will be built & that the council will impose a rule that for the first 30 days they can only be sold to owner occupiers, as at the moment the very very limited 2 bedroom homes that are built are bought by buy to let landlords on the first few days of going on sale.
This is good news, the infrastructure is needed before most people will move to electric especially in Wrexham where a lot of people don’t have drives so can’t charge at home.
I always thought hydrogen cars would be best but virtually no one is making cars & the infrastructure would be more expensive than electric.
Quick charge is the only way to go so good on the council going for 7kw BUT closer to 22kw would be better that would fully charge the car within 3 to 4 hours
June 8, 2017 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Another GP Surgery to Terminate Contract with Betsi Cadwaladr #132646The problem is with the GPs contracts, they get paid so much that most start to go part time in there early 50s then a large percentage retire late 50s, the hospitals are worse consultants are allowed to work part time in private practices if they want, they need to change the contracts from day 1 of training that they must work at least 80% in the NHS for the first 20 years after training that would help reduce the waiting lists currently, 6 to 8 months NHS or the same consultant next week in a private hospital.
Hope so why should being Married give u more money than being single or just not married, it is not “A Tax rise against Married Couples” its just sensible policy even though I dont particularly like Labour.
