I see the Daily Post has canvassed the views of over 31,000 good folk and the results are very intresting. Roll on Brexit I say.

Granted my poll sample is not as big as the Daily Posts, but I haven’t yet heard one person absolutely decided which way to vote.
My poll shows Remain voters don’t wish to vote Labour, Leavers don’t want to vote Conservative because they don’t want No deal Brexit. Many Labour voters don’t want Jeremy Corbyn! 🙁 Most totally undecided!
Wonder how a candidate from Somerset expects to get elected here in Wrexham?
And a little Google search shows he was originally selected for Tiverton and Honiton! This is , of course, a Farage target seat.

Most of the issues that affect everyday life are devolved anyway.

The austerity preventing enough money being spent on many of these issues is driven down directly from Westminster. As whenever funds are allocated on spends for England, Wales then gets the equivalent measures through the Barnett formula.

Also if you think that your local MP is less effective than your AM then you must be joking. Can anyone remember one of our AMs doing anything up North for anything other than a photo opp?
I wasn’t saying that one was more effective than the other. I think that if we question the prospective candidates about ‘the everyday issues ‘, the reply will be ‘It’s devolved.’ Like many others, I just do not know how to vote this time.
Woah – way to have all the fun sucked out of the thread. Why is there a sense of oversensitivity that you aren’t allowed to poke fun out of prospective politicians and it must be all serious mass debate, mass debate, mass debate happening all the time.

You only need to look at this country and we have always satirised and mocked politicians going right back to the formation of Parliament. To have making fun made illegal of politicians then we would perhaps consider ourselves citizens of an oppressed country like North Korea.

The lad himself hasn’t said his feelings are hurt – a youthful look is a compliment 9 out of 10 times. No reason to take offence on his behalf.

Quite frankly whether or not he looks like Baby Face Finlayson plays second fiddle to the fact that in the article – aside from wanting to Remain in Europe. He mentions NOTHING WHATSOEVER about what he is going to do for the Good people of Clwyd South. So if he gets voted in what does he know of any other Non-Brexit key policy issues that affect us on a daily basis – such as the NHS, failing schools, brutal cuts to public services, lack of provision in social care for the elderly and disabled. The continued closure of services in rural areas and reduction of public transport, a lack of jobs and opportunities for young people and also older people who have recently been made redundant – like the closure of Tomlinson’s Dairy in Coedpoeth.

That’s where he is going to get absolutely hammered on the doorsteps when he comes round to the likes of Cefn, Plas Madoc, Rhos, Penycae, Brymbo, New Broughton etc… He’s going to harp on Just about the single issue of Brexit and Remain and quite frankly people aren’t going to be interested.

Has anyone heard any comments from our MP or AM concerning these consultants.
No! Not surprising most probably on the same band wagon.
Mr Lucas almost out of a job and Lesley Griffiths will soon be following.
While not defending either of the above, blaming either of them is like blaming the Easter bunny because you didn’t get a Christmas present!

Health is devolved, therefore nothing to do with Mr Lucas and Westminster and the Health Minister is Vaughan Gething, not Lesley Griffiths.
We have had three years of negotiation and it’s produced what?
We shall continue to export and eat come what may. Why would we not be able to eat? You don’t seriously believe the bullshit about food imports?
Do you think everything is going to continue as usual? Without delays? Without tariffs? Don’t we still need to put trade deals in place? If not, what has everyone been discussing?
“how close is the current Brexit deal to what people voted on ”

The 2016 referendum gave 2 choices leave or remain. It didn’t mention deal.
And the reasons Leavers give for voting leave are many and various. They won’t all be happy! So it is with a divorce or separation: both sides can’t have the TV! Negotiation has to take place, if we wish to continue exporting and eating.
If Mr Lucas had voted to accept the earlier deals, he still wouldn’t have pleased everyone.
Apparently the threat is real this time.

Everyone fill out this consultation – share it your friends/family/online – all and sundry.

    http://www.yourvoicewrexham.net/KMS/DMart.aspx

We in Wrexham cannot and will not accept or tolerate 3 week bin collections – the bins are already overflowing and stinking with rubbish on 2 week collections for larger families – even with all the recycling being done religiously. The fly tipping issue has not been remedied. They haven’t even replaced Kingdom yet to deal with litter offenders. People are still leaving dog shit everywhere. Playgrounds and playing fields regularly have broken bottles and used syringes discarded on them.

I know you council Exec Big Wigs read these posts – be prepared for a hell of a fight on this one. We will not be shafted on this one like they’ve done in Conwy.
I have completed the survey, but was bemused by Question 13. The preamble is about Country Parks, but the question is about allotment fees. Did I miss something?

Exactly Thor, and that’s why Ian Lucas may have the unenviable position of possibly loosing a seat in Wrexham that has been Labour for over eighty years, unless the likes of my Great Grandmother can be resurrected :

Yes it was part of the Speech of Mr Cameron who was the Leader of Vote remain

He ran away cause he thought the Big Smoke would be fine it would outvote the rest ( some cities would ome on baord and Remain would romp home )

Within there are parts remain voters say
Leave didnt know what we voting for ?
    Yes we did

Leave werent voting for Hard or Soft Brexit no they were voting to leave
Hard and Soft Brexit are Remain made up words

I choose Leave for number of reasonn

Prmaiarly cause my taid fought in WW2 to give us the freedom

    Soneone mentioed johnson shutting parliment

He can do that and also he can leave Oct 31 if he chooses and not break any laws

As EU law Superceeds UK law.

And Treaty of the EU of which Article 50 forms a Part of trumps An act of parliment ( European Communities act 1974)
    It shouldnt but it does

So Boris wouldnt be breaking any laws if he left Oct31

If that was overturned by out Courts there would be 100s of cases that had Eu Law attached which would need Voiding.
How did you think leaving would actually work? In its simplest form, leaving is like a divorce. There has to be negotiation, call it what you will.
