If you dont want to use the boxes send them back, fill your bin with recyclable waste then moan when your bin is overflowing. Bin men dont get paid a good wage as alot are agency staff, you are reluctant to sort out your own waste so why should they stick their hands into god knows what. Do you know how scary it is to be pricked by a needle and have to wait weeks for doctors results??

And recycle box bowling is actually quite fun, especially when the car is newer than 07 plate 😂

Wow we really do have selective bin men around the wrexham area, for them to actually take just a black bag out of your bin. I mean why would they want to put it on the back of the wagon and empty it all in one go when they can put their hands (maybe arms seen as they fished it out) into someones rubbish. Maybe all the money they have spent on boxes have left them with no money for binbags and they now have to use second hand ones.

How can anyone condone littering, there are plenty of bins around, dont want a fine.. dont litter…
most people dont contact the council with their complaints. They will rant and rave on social media and forums. ok so your bin has been missed, tell your friends and your family and whoever else is watching but i bet none of them will empty it for you. Phone the council! How can they send someone to empty it if they dont know.

Do the new boxes get emptied into a different sort of wagon?

By the look of it yes. We have a new wagon coming around our village alot smaller than the old ones, it doesnt have a side that lifts up. Maybe to help when idiot people block off roads with their parked cars on bin day and then complain when their bins/boxes dont get emptied or their car gets damaged.

[quote quote=115348]They weren’t suitable for us and were taken away on request. Our binmen are always very good and tidy. So no complaints and thanks for an excellent service.

If you dont want your boxes phone them and they will collect them off you. Not all binmen are like that the ones we have are pretty good at putting things back or as close to it as they can, but maybe that is because people in our village treat them like humans and not like crap on our shoe. Some places they find needles, shi**y nappies, dog muck, and god knows what else inside boxes that they have to sort out. The new boxes dont need sorting, it is not for you to ‘do their job’ its to protect them from inconsiderate people. If you have a problem report them take the registration of wagon and phone it through, instead of moaning on here let your voice be heard the more complaints the more they cant ignore it.

I parked in st giles today and they were there! I dont think they are homeless at all, there was a lad in an adidas tracksuit and riding a bike circling around people as they are getting out of their cars. A woman in her forties who looked ‘tidy’ i mean her hair and make up was done to a degree she was wearing a jacket that is still on sale in primark. None of them looked scruffy or like they are lacking a decent meal. I dont understand why you would do this, its pathetic, grown adults doing this and they are the first thing shoppers see when they arrive to park, my thoughts were what a shithole!!

They should be kept an eye on if they have links with terrorism. By all means feel free to look through my internet history and follow me around, at least you will know that i am one less person who is going to commit a massacre, and i will feel safe in the knowledge someone has my back.
