And as for those that over do the toilet roll.. You do know that even in full lock down.. Other countries still have supermarkets and chemist’s open. Food and pharmacy suppliers stay open.. This also includes basic supplies such as toilet roll. I think Boris gives way to much credit to the intelligence of our nation. And instead of suggesting things we should do, he should use the draconian approach

OK guys.. There will be a way to compensate anyone That has time off they just haven’t figured it out yet. Like most I don’t need to be losing time off work unpaid. My employer is. A small business and they are worried how they will pay sick employees. The thing Is common sense. Unless you take the piss and call coronavirus for time off work eg.. Council members that think they will get 6 months full pay for a goddamn cough. News to you guys. You have 7 days… You call sick now then get The virus.. You won’t get paid. As for others. If you work in a larger company, unless they have asked you to voluntary take leave you wik hav eto get paid, and they will be reimbursed

Out of interest, I had my (Male) partner call the leisure centre to inform them ‘he identified as a woman’ and would like to access the women only sessions, they said she (he) would be most welcome…! you couldn’t make it up!

This is the kind of attitude i was referring to when i said i would get a life
I am not surprised there is a higher ratio of women than men when they advertise a women only swim. You can not argue if it was the other way it would be all over social media.
Women only swim has not always been a thing.. so that does not influence the ratio at all.

It is merely a case of suppy and demand. Women out ratio the men who attend plas madoc. Why advertise a male only swim when the custom is not there.
Whereas in wrexham leisure centre the attendance of sex is more 50/50.
They are trying to run a business, to turn it into some sort of sexism farce is a bit pathetic.

They also have an adult swim and a parent and paddler. Adults one side children 4 and under with parents the other side. My kid will be 5 soon. And wont be able to attend. Maybe il complain about this…
Or maybe il just get a life and give them a break as they have worked hard to keep the leisure centre open.

If it needed emergency treatment. Then stay for treatment. Cant be an emergency if they leave

I completely agree! If you are leaving a&e then you obviously do not have an emergency. Unless you need things your GP, local pharmacy or local minors units cant provide, stay away from a&e.
The ones who complain “we had to leave after 4 hours of waiting” its you that causes the problems there.

They also probably get free accommodation during working hours…. why do you think council rent is so high? Basically if you ‘work’ for the council you have no expenditures and all your income can be used for holidays (yes they get approx 28 days holiday a year and a few to cover bank holidays as well. I know i know the cheeky mares!) And not forgetting all the brand new vws and fords they drive (company cars of course)

I thought that to, until my dad who was supervisor at her factory for 8 years turns up to work one morning to find it locked up and a sign on the door. No warning, no apology, no redundancy. At 50 years old he found it hard to get back into work thankfully he now has. But that is what i remember her for…
