Or better yet, the dirty sods who dump their rubbish in the first place could take some pride in the town and take their crap home?

Wrexham has Hackney cabs. Usually 3 or 4 of them on King Street. They are perfect if you have young kids in pushchairs and don’t want the hassle of taking the pushchair down and then hoping the seatbelt on the taxi is long enough to go around your car seat. The difference to me, is the size of the vehicle. They tend to look like London Black Cabs whereas I don’t think I’ve seen a private hire vehicle that looks like that.

The question becomes, does Wrexham NEED another gym? There are already countless gyms dotted about all over the place. For the jobs perspective it’s a good thing, but I wonder if we need something NEW, not something that already exists.

As for “less fat people walking around”, regardless of that highly offensive comment, it won’t make a difference if people can’t afford the prices of them will it?

No. When it was first mentioned, there were rumours of it being a Waitrose but who knows. I don’t think it is anything to do with the brewery. Afterall, why would a brewery put in an application for a convenience store?

It’s not a corner shop. It does quite clearly state on the article posted by Wrexham.com that it will employ both full time and part time staff. It isn’t a mini market. What is a mini market? Who decides what is called a mini market?

Is it anything to do with a parcel of land quite close by that up to now has been refused planning permission for building? If this unneeded mini market were to go ahead it may open up a substantial area of greenery to be built on. If they can employ 20 people they must only be going to work 4 hours a week each. Research the other mini markets. I have yet to see them overflowing with staff. They must have the same people doing the research who counted 32,000 people going to the Oriel Gallery in the library.

As a resident of Hightown and within 5 minute walking distance of this, I say bring it on. The shop on Abenbury Road is overpriced (As are most stores of that nature). Nobody kicked up a stink when Farmfoods was being built, seeing as there is a shop and a petrol station with a shop within 5 minutes of it.

FYI, not sure when the last time you visited Kings Mill was, but I would hardly say it is restored.

With all the vacant retail space in Wrexham why do the Council continually grant planning permission for more ? This is going to be a shop right on the edge of town next to the original restored King’s Mill building. This is clearly an out of town retail development which probably wouldn’t stand a chance of getting planning permission if we had an LDP in place.

I remember when that system was first put in place. Getting out from by my nans, whatever direction you wanted to go in, was a nightmare. Before, you always had a chance because of the changing of the lights but after the new system, it was impossible. SHe lived in Belvedere Drive.

As for the old lager building that is now used as ACT training, they can’t knock it down. It’s listed.

I don’t drive, I use the bus and never noticed the no parking signs until relatively recently.

    Crikey, someone is rather stroppy!

But the fact is, he is right. We, as a nation are far too quick to complain about everything. I believe they are known as “first world problems”. This discussion is NOTHING to do with who pays for what, nor is it about bus passes, it’s about bus drivers not stopping. If the driver is driving like a complete fool, everyone on that bus has a right to complain. Afterall, it is OUR Lives he is putting at risk (and those he pulls out in front of because he’s 20 minutes late). If a bus refuses to stop because there’s another one behind him, I have the RIGHT to complain and moan.

Maybe you should get your head out of YOUR arse and use your own intelligence and humanity because your post was neither intelligent not humanitarian.

You… asteve76 are an arrogant and unappreciative fool. If the ’76’ does not refer to your age … then screw you. Have you ever considered that every citizen who is of an age to have a bus pass, has already paid into the system sufficient to warrant free transport, and not only that. They have paid into the system sufficient to pay for your NHS treatments, schooling and possibly life saving treatments. YOU are what used to be called a total plonker. Now get your silly head out of your arse and start using intelligence and HUMANITY.
