JPParticipantSo what actually has Farage done?
Collected a big pay cheque for doing f all, rarely turning up, not representing the special interest group (fishermen) that he claimed to champion.
Farage is brilliant, He scammed you lot; now drop and bend for the KY, because his mates that he does care about, are coming round for their turn.Enjoy.
JPParticipant
So BenjaminM…..correct me if I’m wrong….
The UK voted to Leave the EU? Answer resounding YES.
Wrexham voted to leave the EU? Answer resounding YES.
who’s deluded?
I fear your one of these smelly little betwetters? Please say I’m wrong

And you are obviously a typical brainless underachiever, worried that the puddle of shit you aspire to live in, is getting cold and overcrowded.
JPParticipantNot that easy to data mine, but look at results compared to National, and LA.
(especially Rhosnessni High)
Look at % of free school meals and attainment, (which buggers Tim Regencys assumption).Note Maelor going down the crapper for the last three years; that must make the LA happy, only two left for special measures.
JPParticipant
Welfare reforms. Hungry, unhappy children can’t concentrate, especially if they also live in cramped B&Bs.
Whilst you may well be correct that these factors play a part in educational success Tim, they don’t help explain why Wrexham is so far down a league in which all of the comparable Welsh towns are suffering from the same conditions.
Wales hasn’t exactly topped the Charts for secondary education in the UK for years, the UK falling behind other major competitors……..and Wrexham is lagging below what is already a low bar.
Seriously, what planet are you on?
Edit: wrong quote, meant to quote tim.

JPParticipantI`m guessing Matt wasn’t one of the thousands of students who got their further education whilst plodding through NEWI. You do have a post 16 further or higher education, don’t you??
Bigger gripe for me is the willingness of the Council to “gift” land (on Dean Road) to a commercial enterprise, for that enterprise to then sell at a profit.
The council have a track record on this front, the prison land was gifted to WAG, iirc the council then paid for fencing the site.
WCBC appear to have no commercial acumen whatsoever, or certainly a fixation with maximising financial loss and minimising revenue.
Planning in Wrexham needs looking at; something stinks.

JPParticipantAlunH,
Demand driven supply? So where is the school in Brymbo, or the Doctors Surgery?
The Surgery in Summerhill was under health board control, as is Strathalyn.
Borras surgery was struggling and Gresford/marford/Llay/Rosset is not coping either.
JPParticipantWe need a second vote, the question should read:-
I think the seventies were better before the EU money flooded into Wales; I want to return to living in a backwards puddle of poo.
After 44 years of blaming everything on the EU, what are you going to blame next? The boogie?
Maybe time to wake up and get the message, the UK are shite, and could not run a bath.
WCBC really proves the point.March 25, 2019 at 1:13 pm in reply to: Wales moves to become the first UK country to ban smacking #165748
JPParticipantBuggering kids in care, was always illegal.
Social services in this neck of the woods seemed to miss that though, along with the odd copper.
JPParticipantProbably be another riot in QP when they realise that the ones who stole their jobs have gone, and they now need another excuse for being unemployable.
JPParticipantThere is no unemployment in Wrexham, there are just unemployable.
Your average Wrexham doley, is quite literally incapable of pushing a brush.
