We did get some nice new Christmas lights though so isn’t it a small price to pay?

Obviously I am joking and it’s the same old same old from the council. When 17 councillors voted against the LDP with valid reasons and then it was railroaded through, tells us all we need to know. They just give lip service and then do what they want.

I see they are proposing a new primary school for 9 acres?? Just where has this idea come from and don’t we have enough in this area? We have Acton, Rhosddu, Alexandra and also Barkers Lane which is supposed to be expanding?
All come out of the blue?

Cllr Morris is just a puppet and really doesn’t want to go against anything that is put forward.

Bet he hasn’t read through all the objections from the public against the LDP. Most likely others will vote in the same manner.

There are many many issues with the LDP but it will most likely be railroaded through.

Land by the fairways and Bryn Estyn lane area along with Ruthin road area has major issues which none of them seem to have grasped!!

Just another joke for a council to decide on..

Get rid of the mayor and his assistant, car, secretary for a start. Must be over £100k with all that lot. Biggest waste ever. Let’s move into the modern era not live in the past as these positions are so behind the times.

Additional documents have been added and the deadline extended to July 16th.

I have tried to see what additional docs have been added but I have looked st the docs list and can’t fathom out which ones have just been put on. Can anyone point me to which ones??

    Another well run operation…..NOT!

There are some quite amusingly bad facebook pages/groups out there in terms of spin/censorship etc but as you say that is in the gifts of the admins – but for the record nothing has been spun / censored on here.

As for other local news, I would note despite updating for various things Wrexham related today it seems the Leader / Post have not covered today on the day, or Thursday on the day – ITV Wales nowhere, but thankfully the BBC have this indepth report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-43611038

A success. Do you really believe that? Yes for a one day event it’s debatable but long term it definately won’t work….you know that

See the new signage has gone up on Ty Pawb, “market, community and art” facing Chester Street. Presumably they will have similar signage facing towards Tesco so that people driving through the town will see it , no passing traffic on Chester Street !

Signs for the toilets might be good. Even if the gents are only allowed a no.1. Less money on fireworks and more on getting the W.Cs working. Farce

Due respect they would have been well more than £1k

Fireworks — been told they are £10k what a waste- anything less than New Year London/Sydney style fireworks are no longer worth watching- environmentally unfriendly – why not have a light show- something different and no pollution.

I would be surprised if they were even close to a 10th of that figure assuming it is the same regular supplier who does the lights switch on etc, and does those events very well too IMHO!

Fireworks for 250 people to watch….£10 k well spent. Thanks Wxm council
