Just a reminder every one. Closing date for objection letters and emails to Wrexham Planning is Friday 23rd January 2015. If you have not done so please get them in now.

Our back yards are full. Yours is empty. Hence the need for more building plots. What is the problem?

My concerns for the future of this Hub are, in four years down the line when the Arts Council are having to cut back on funding, who will pick up the tab. In the first place if the Police Station was not being replaced WCBC would never ever have thought of building a Hub. My fears are that in time we have neither a Hub or a Peoples Market.

Wxm:- I emailed a Councillor with my observations on the webcast of Tuesday’s Exec Board meeting. I expressed my view that it was a complete and utter shambles. The reply I received said, I have to say that, sadly, I reviewed the webcast and share many of your concerns. So it is just not the public that have reservations on the goings on.

Are you implying Triage are not doing their job correctly, or is it that the Triage rules need to be changed ?

[QUOTE=PhilWynn;17821 CC. Even the Labour opposition on the night abstained, so read into that what you like.

    Cllr Phil Wynn

Phil:- The Labour party abstain on most things. A complete and utter waste of time. They should be there to look after the people of Wrexham’s interests, not their own.

JaneJ– I do not know how many meetings a Councillor has to put in to get the allowance. When you look at the webcast for the Exec Board Meeting on Tuesday, Cllr Jenkins did not add anything to the debate, only saying that he supported the agenda item. The same with Cllr Wynn again not adding to the debate only adding his support. This support is given at their party meetings. To me there is no need for them to appear. If they have anything constructive to add, by all means put in an appearance. I believe that neither had anything constructive to say.

It appears to me from viewing the webcast that Councillors not on the Exec Board come to these meetings to show their faces to the viewing public. From what I have seen they do not have much input into the meeting. Once the webcast ceases or just before, they go home, job done.
