I bought some chips from there once when Jones’s was shut. We thought we would try them out – what a mistake! The chips were disgusting, tasted stale and like they had been reheated. The fish was really horrible too. Never went back there again so am not surprised if they have closed down.

The Maesgwyn park area and the area around Moneypenny has become awful for drug taking. Many of the homeless from around town tend to use this area more since being moved on from Rhosddu. I have found lots of empty bottles of methadone, needles and empty cans and bottles of booze!

I used to feel really sorry for these people but now just wish someone would shift them all on to Minera Mountain and keep them out of the town centre! It’s not just the drinking and drug taking , it’s the crime they generate and the litter they leave about – not to mention they use Maesgwyn playing fields as a toilet.

The police should confiscate any alcohol and drugs! Do random stop and searches, that would soon make them stay out of the town centre!

He’s been around town for a few weeks, usually sitting on the bench by the traffic lights on Grosvenor Road. I’ve not seen him doing anything wrong but have never been bothered by him anyway. He comes up to me but is always polite and friendly!

I’m more concerned about the drug and alcohol users around Moneypenny area and Maesgwyn park lately! Bottles of empty methadone lying around, needles, empty cans and human faeces!

Despite the local councillor Phil Wynn being contacted by a number of residents he never replies! Guess we will all remember that next time we vote!

My understanding of blue badge schemes and mobility cars is that you need to be in receipt of enhanced mobility pip or the high rate of dla moblility. The current requirement is that you cannot be able to walk more than 20 metres. So clearly she is doing more than that. I am not saying when she has relapsed she does not need the disabled space but when in remission she clearly does not.

The video of her arguing with the disabled lady about the disabled space was also a blatant setup of that woman just so she could video her.

    Just my opinion

All they had to do was close off the road in both directions and wait for someone like a vet or RSPCA, dog warden etc… They would have one of the long poles with a loop that allows someone to capture a dog at more than arms length safely and humanely! They could easily have used cars to form a circle around the dog until someone arrived.

That dog would have been dragged down the road and felt extreme fear and pain. I am disgusted with North Wales police.

Oh what a great idea! Does this mean that instead of spending 4-5 hours in casualty if someone needs stitches, has sprained their ankle or similar injuries they can simply just pop down to Hafan Y Dref tonight and get treated quicker?

I forgot to add, why are these people allowed to keep animals?? Surely the RSPCA should be stepping in and removing a dog which is being neglected and abused by being given alcohol to drink?

The town is going downhill rapidly! I was at the bus station a couple of weekends ago and all the druggies and drinkers were taking shelter in it. They were sat down in a gang drinking out of bottles in front of kids and the elderly. They had a staffi dog with them which was having alcohol poured down it’s throat! They were also feeding it raw bacon rind and off cuts which one of them had got from the butchers.

A guy went over to ask them to stop giving the dog alcohol and all they all stood up and began jostling him and offering him out! They had bottles aimed at him and all of this was in front of young children. The bus station employee was threatened so was powerless to stop it all.

It was the familiar faces… Andrew Snell etc…

The town is not only full of our own local druggies and drinkers, we are also attracting those from far away because of the shelters we have etc…

I am not sure what can be done but it needs to be sorted out.
